This SAL course comprises a series of seminars on the managing and reviewing of electronic evidence at various stages of a case, namely, case commencement, discovery, trial preparation and hearing. It outlines the implications of evidence originating in electronic format, the use of evidence review tools, ediscovery in the context of Practice Direction 3 of 2009, preparation of eBundles and conducting eHearings. Each module is a self-contained seminar, covering a specific aspect of electronic evidence review and management, and can be attended separately.

About The Speaker
Serena Lim is a legal technology and litigation support consultant to law firms. She is the founder and Director of Bizibody Technology Pte Ltd and Litigation Edge Pte Ltd, as well as director of Opus 2 International (Singapore). Each of these companies has been a technology pioneer in the legal and judicial space in Singapore. She also holds directorships in several other companies that provide outsourced services to Singapore and Malaysian law firms. Her group of companies services more than 200 law firms in Singapore and Malaysia.
Prior to venturing into legal technology and litigation support, Serena was in private practice for over 12 years, was the managing partner of Khattar Wong & Partner’s Hong Kong Office, and specialized in corporate and real estate law. Her goal is to help lawyers harness technology, so that they can run great law practices, that is, practices which are sustainable, profitable, enjoyable and do good work. She believes that technology is the solution to meeting the demand for faster, better and lower cost delivery of legal services. To this end, she has embarked on technology projects to automate standardized processes, increase efficiency and increasingly, create new business models and new ways of delivering legal services.
Serena works closely with the Law Society of Singapore, Singapore Academy of Law and the Singapore Judiciary. She has also contributed to the design and delivery of practice management courses at the Temasek Business School and the Law Society of Singapore, and has developed, and will be delivering, a module on legal technology for the Singapore Academy of Law LIFTED framework.
