TechLaw.Fest 2022

Up Your Legal Technology Game at TechLaw.Fest 2022

To Practising Lawyers, the metaverse may seem distant, far-fetched, and a little “akan datang.”

TechLaw.Fest Logo I was not going to look at the #metaverse and Web3.0 until they had become a little more mainstream. But that day came sooner than I expected because of TechLaw.Fest 2022 (“TLF”), which I am an ardent supporter of, upped the ante and made the Metaverse their 2022 theme. So I have made some initial dives, and yup, I believe there’s something there like it is the future of the internet, and sooner than you think, it will become part of our every day without users having to understand how it works.

So what I like about Web3.0 and the Metaverse is that it embodies and is driven by ideals of autonomy, creativity, inclusivity, accessibility, and democracy – all the things that inspire me to be a tech enabler without users having to understand anything about the semantic web, AI, blockchain or 3D Graphics. Like you can immerse yourself into the mobile phone without knowing how to build it.

You may think that the metaverse is not immediately relevant to you today (although the UK and USA Courts have both recently approved Court service by way of an airdropped token), so why should you make time to attend TLF 2022?

TechLaw.Fest puts the metaverse in your universe – from the perspective of practice management and the business of law, criminal laws, IP laws, property transactions, and new legal approaches that may be needed in a world where everything is decentralised. – Serena Lim

What TechLaw.Fest puts the metaverse in your universe – from the perspective of practice management and the business of law, criminal laws, IP laws, property transactions, and new legal approaches that may be needed in a world where everything is decentralised. In short, TLF makes the Metaverse real for you.

I have as much to learn in my technopreneur role as you do in your legal practitioner role. So let’s do this together. Let’s meet in the TechLaw.Fest metaverse for some thought-provoking content and prepare ourselves for the future. Learn More
